Dink & Rally is an iPhone app for organizing pickleball round robins. Use this page for basic help with setup, events, scores, exports, and privacy.
Getting Started
- Add players in the Players tab.
- Create an event from the Events tab.
- Choose a ready round robin format.
- Preview the schedule before saving it.
- Enter scores from the event page.
- Review standings and export results when the event is complete.
Common Questions
Can I import contacts? Yes. Dink & Rally can use Apple Contacts only when you choose to add players from contacts. The app saves only the selected names as player names.
Where is my event data saved? Event, player, score, and template information is saved locally on your iPhone.
Is this an iPad app? The first public release is intended for iPhone only.
Can I share event results? Yes. The app can export or share event information through the iPhone share sheet when you choose to do that.
Troubleshooting
- If something looks out of date, close and reopen the app.
- If a schedule does not look right, go back to the setup screen and create a fresh schedule preview before saving.
- If score entry needs correction, open the match and update the score. The app may ask you to confirm risky score changes.
- If export or sharing does not open, make sure your iPhone has an app available for the file or text you are trying to share.
- If the app still does not work as expected, restart the iPhone and try again.
